Opportunity to train dogs for the Iditarod in the heart of the Alaska Range. Racing opportunities possible.
Spend the winter in 30 miles south of Denali National Park in the town of Cantwell, Alaska. We are interested in finding responsible, capable individuals who are self-motivated, willing to learn, and have a can-do attitude. Experience not necessary, we will teach the right person.
Primary duty is to assist in the care of our dogs. Handlers at The Wolf's Den also participate in multi-day training trips to our remote camp and get to come to the races. Lots of time on the runners! Room and board provided.
In addition to our main race team, we have a very talented group of young dogs. If you are interested in qualifying for the Iditarod or the Yukon Quest contact us about racing opportunities.
